White House watchers trying to divine President Trump's next move might do well to look at the timeline below, showing television news attention to the story of Russian interference with the 2016 election. The story lept into the media on December 10th, accounting for more than a quarter of airtime on CNN, 15% of MSNBC's airtime and 10% of Fox News' in the days following and continued to be a dominate story for the next two years. A president still embittered by the Russia narrative that emerged within weeks of his election and cast his new administration as "illegitimate" from the start might not be in a rush to concede.
