Television News Coverage Of Black Lives Matter Fades

The Black Lives Matter movement received widespread media coverage since November 2014, peaking in August 2015 and July 2016, before largely disappearing from television news until this past June's George Floyd protests. Yet each month since June mentions have faded, with the month to date's mentions reaching back towards zero as the media pivots back to the election and pandemic.
Zooming into just the May 2020 to present period, it can be seen that the real dropoff appears to have occurred at the start of this month as the election hit its final stretch.
The phrase "Blue Lives Matter" peaked later this year, in August 2020 but has also dropped sharply over the last two months.
